Show Saturday 25 Up in good time & all packed before breakfast. Breakfast at coffe shop Paid hotel bill 115.22 Dee took us to airport. Left on flight 62 at 320 Uneventful trip to Salt Lake. Ar. 705 pm. Paul & Betty met us & took us home. Margaret & Dorothy at airport to meet us. It has been raining. A little fixing around & to bed Sunday 26 Late getting up. Laurie & Janet visited at 11 & Rosabelle called phoned before I was dressed. Combined breakfast & dinner & called at Sunday dinner. Nan & I out for ride at 2 pm. Visited Tom Barker. Nan went out later. I settled down to read (machine) a new book Mary Lincoln buy (Ruth Painter Randall. Much interestin & stuck to at all pm Nan home early & so to bed. Monday 27 An unsettled day as to weather. Nan & I together got all my travel things put away. Nan did a big washing. I phoned Margaret. Peggy will be in Salt Lake April 1st Nan & I out for a ride in eve. The days now longer. Tuesday 28. Hospital Board meeting with Drs of staff to hear report & program of new hospital project. Bishop Isaacson told of possibility of dispersing of present building. A box lunch for all at Nurses Home building. Laurie took me & brought me home after I have had some dizziness still not settled down after our trip. Settled down to the Mary Lincoln book. Enjoying it very much. Nan & I a ride in eve. Henry came to see us Wed Mar 20. Nan & I to funeral of Mr Hedenstrom at 11 am. A good crowd & a consoling service. Home for a little lunch. Nan went out for pm. I settled down to my Mary Lincoln book. Enjoyable. On days alone I put Dicks picture beside and feel that I have company. Nan home in good time. Tired to bed. Thursday. Still listening to my Lincoln book. It gets sadder & sadder. Joe took Rosabelle & me to Judge Reeders funeral 2 pm. We sat with Acacia in a body Nan came for me at 3 pm. We went shopping. Bot 2 dresses at Wolfers & a hat at Todds. More reading in eve. Nan working on her income tax. Friday Phoned Dee this am to thank them for hosp. Finished my sad book. A new light on Mary Lincoln. Nan busy cleaning. A ride in later pm. & quiet eve at home. |
