Show Monday 23 Still a little snow on the shady places A gloomy am promising storm A gloomy day Nan & I down town at 11. To Dr Stagg. To Wolfers to see Mrs. Green re Christmas decorations. Tues 24 My head rather bad today. Nan & I to Mrs. Watkins & got our dresses. Nans family Scott & Miss Shelly & Stephen & Betty & Paul & baby came to show Louises new car. I finished the Columbus book & started The Man who Led Two Lives very good. Sun shining brightly this a.m. To Mrs Brown for hair do 10 am. At 130 with Janet to hospital. Pink Lady graduation. Nan brot me home at 4. A quiet pm & eve at home. Reading The Man who Lived twice inspiring. Thursday 26 Rather gloomy a.m. Reading my book a.m. To Acacia at Ms. Hanes. A good Pioneer program as usual. Nans pm out. Myrene brot me home. To Drama Club 730 with Blanche Johnston. A little play put on & general sociability. Home at 930. Nan came at same time. Friday 27 Gloomy again this am. To Salt Lake with Blanche Johnston for Acacia luncheon & program at Hotel Utah Daisy Romney hostess. Home at 5. Quiet eve at home. Saturday 27 Three inches of snow on ground this am. I slept in and had Ham for breakfast. Reading book & dozing all day. Sunday 29 A stormy am Wind & snow. No Sunday School Laurie & Janet went by plane to Boise for Bank meeting. No visitors wind blowing all day. Reading & TV & radio made an entertaining day. Dizzy head at night. Monday 30 Wind ceased entirely so we had a man take down front door first then kitchen door to put on weather stripping (no more draught) Nan & I down town. At Bon Marche got a hat & looked at things for Christmas. Home for late lunch and home rest of day & eve. Tuesday 31. Halloween. Got a few treats for luncheon. To Dr Charles am. He went over eyes, etc. Some better He gave new medicine. |
