Show Friday 29 General Conference on TV to watch I listened Word of death od David Jenson in Berkeley, Calif. I sent day letter by telegraph to Emma. Listened to Conference session both am & pm. Nans Louise came to see her. Mr. Deamer fixed study TV & exchanged for a new TV & airial A kind of messed up day. Nan & I out to get chicken & had a good supper at home later. To mortuary to see last of a dear friend Harvy Calull who died Tuesday. Saturday 30 Conference on TV 10 am to 12 & again 2 pm to 4 Good sessions, much enjoyed. Crag, Gail & their little Tnira visited a while, during noon hour. In eve Nan & I called to see Don & Elizabeth in their new home. Nan went to a show. Sarah McCracken came & we spent a pleasant time reading. Sunday Oct 1 Listened to the Conference all am. Laurie & Janet came in to visit. They were much pleased with our improvements. Sunday 1 Cont. Called for Elizabeth & Don at 1 pm & took them for diner at the Steak House at Layton. A good meal & nice visit at their fine new home Nan brot me home & then went out until 9 P.M. I spent cosy eve in our study which is newly arranged. Monday 2 With Edith & Mr Tribe to look at a fine home on Polk Ave (near St Benedicts) also to view from outside another prospect. I have headache today. In pm to Wolfers & Nyes & got three dresses. In eve picked up Edith & Madeline & went to Larkins & to Lindquists. Mr. Hoar at the first & Nattie Proudfit at the other am much affected by the death of my old friend Nettie Tuesday 3 Bry and a friend moved the terrace furniture down in garage Edith & Mr Tribe took us to see home on Lake street by swaner place. I much impressed Wed 4 Had headache so got excused from Ladies Lit. Nans P.M. out She came home early with to fix supper. Mrs McCracken came |
