Show Wednesday 6 Interested in watching carpenter. In sitting room reading & TV most of day Nan out pm. Elizabeth invited me to a trout dinner eve. Don provided transportation. Thurs Sept 7. The following came on various turns. Mr. Anderson & Mr. Golden Kimball (Life Insurance) to bring Nans 1st annuity check. Mr. Boycott to show blinds. Mr Randall & a salesman with samples. Bill Bailey doing carpenter work & Mr. Schow super visiting. Nan & I did nothing but mix in the general melee. Friday 8 A new project making a window in downstairs sitting room. Carpenter finished in bath room leaving only a painter paper hanger tile man and linoleum man to finish next week Nan & I down town 11 am. at Sears Lowes & Bon Marche too looked at curtain materials fire place fittings. Had lunch at Bon Marche. Rosabelle back home She & I had 2 long talks during day. Saturday 9. Men came early on various jobs. Got groceries & Sunday supplies To Elizabeth for plums. Nan out in eve Mrs McCracken spent eve with me. Sunday 10. Sunday School 10 am. A long ride after looking at houses. D house no good. Mr. Green led us to fine house at Sunset Drive nearly to Salt Lake unsuitable. A good dinner at home. Nan out in later pm & home early. Rosabelle & Joe came after church for nice visit. Sunday 11. Carpenter making a window in sitting room down stairs. Nan did washing & put up plumbs during all the confusion. Hard for me to find a place to be. Hard Living on hope. Marie came in eve & we got all fixed up Tuesday 12. I spent the day in bed after a night with upset stomach. Better by eve. Wednesday 13. Better this A.M. Nan & I to Van Kampens and chose linoleum for bath |
