Show to the radio New Testament. Laurie better today but did not go out. A good dinner at home. Nan drove to Salt Lake. The storm over a quiet day. Monday, Feb. 13 Laurie better today. A fine day but still patches of snow on ground. I was able to read some in U.S. News & World Report with new glasses. In pm Nan & I took reading machine to Blind office & got new needle. Also to Green Stamp & got linen & to Sears & got a lamp for down stairs room. Tuesday, Feb. 1 Finished Bridge of San Luis Ray on reader & began the Duchess of Marlborough book. Pm wit Nan to get dresses fixed & to MOdlings to decide on a mantle decoration. Young Bobby King came with a valentine & a nice visit. Henry visited got out an early picture of Betty. Hope she is as happy now as she looked when this was taken Wednesday, Feb. 15 Nan & I went to Modlings & got a lovely I. Metal modeled flower piece for mantle. To LL Club at Marion Pugmire 1 pm. Luncheon for 15 & book reading by Pearl Allred. Maude Silver brot me home. Nans day out. Miss Anne Rasmussen called & checkers with Nan after she got home. Thursday, Feb. 16 WWeather has cleared off again We had sunshine today Alice & members of Junior Leagues met with me at home 10 am to plan program for next Tuesday reading book at intevals. (Marlboroughs Duchess) Nan & I out for a nice ride later. At Albertsons new store. Bought a small lamp, etc & got groceries. A quiet eve. with some checkers. Friday, Feb. 17 Bright sunshine this am Snow all melted off. Nan got busy with a good all day cleaning. I did a lot of reading. At 5 pm went out & picked up Patty to stay with us all night. At 730 the three of us to Adam Pattersons. He showed picture of their nice trip in So America intermably. About 60 guests. Home at 10. Saturday, Feb. 18 Snow during the eve have a nice cake frosting over everything except a ride out for groceries, etc. Nan took Patty home in eve. I reading Sunday 19 To Sunday School 10 am Dinner at home. Nan out pm Laurie came for nice visit We discussed plans for A.T.D. |
