Show LEGACY OF A PRAYER WARRIOR Mother Rosetta Dudley Golding has always been a special and chosen vessel of the Lord. As a youth she professed a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus and later received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost under the ministry of Elder Green while Living in Arkansas. Her family later moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she served under the ministry of Elder Clarence Williams. later joined in holy matrimony, 1947. William Golding, ‘There she met and on December 12, The following Spring, Elder David Griffin, Founder — of Griffin Memorial and also her uncle, asked them to came to Ogden to help them in their newly started church. They came to Ogden with a mind to work and be a blessing to both the church and the Lord. Mother Golding willingly sacrificed and gave her all to the work of the Lord in this part of God's vineyard. Mother Golding worked untiringly and unep iPass to pranote the work of the Lord. She not only worked with her hands, but used her energetic mind to came up with ways to be a blessing to the church. She also involved her children in this work to teach and train them how to sacrifice and work for the Lord. She spent hours praying and fasting; tarrying before the Lord; baking pies and cakes; selling chicken dinners and other items throughout the community to help the church. Even with all the time it took with these projects, she was not only active in her local church but faithfully served in the Ogden District and on the State level. Mother Golding just loved she was with her radiant Her family, church family deeply, but know that she people and brought sunshine wherever snile, warmth and pleasing personality. and a host of friends will miss her is safely in the ams of Jesus. God saw the road, was getting rough. The hills were hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes And whispered, "Peace be thine." The weary hours, the days of pain, The sleepless nights are passed, The ever patient worn out frame Has found sweet rest at last. |
