He moved. to— Ogden in 1944 and became a life long resi- — dent. He married Marjorie _ Griffin on. July © 20, ; 1955. SS 2 Mr. Sanders ° Ce was employed by W.R. White Company for more than 42 years, retiring in 1992 as Chief Foreman. He was also a member of Labor Union #295 for over _ 40 years and served in various posi— tions. , 3 | _ He was one of the first members of _the Griffin Temple (Memorial) Church of God in Chris and was a faithful — member for over 50 years where he | served as Deacon, Usher Board President and Trustee Board Member. He became a member of the Finley Temple Church of God in Christ this past July, — | _ He is survived by his wife of Ogden, one son, Timothy Halley, Ogden. Three _ daughters: Mary Andrews, Compton | | Calif.; Ruby Nagy, Ogden; Ruth Hadanoe Salt Lake City; grandson, Dewan Nagy, Ogden. Four sisters: Ethel John- — son, Ogden; Edith Betty, Ranch Cordo-. va, Calif; Maye Q, Mitchell, Ogden; Dorothy McDonald, Sacramento, Calif. Two adopted daughters: Lucille Jones, Ogden and Roxanne Frazier, Roy. Two adopted sisters: Eliza Hill, Ogden and Ruby Coppadge, Dover, Delaware. 12 Grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren “and three great-great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and an abundance of friends. | | He was preceded in death by both parents and three brothers. _. Services will be held Saturday, December 14, 1996 at 1 p.m. at The Finley Temple Church of God in Christ, _ 119 West 30th Street, Ogden, Utah | _ with Elder Henry McCallister officiating. _ Friends may call at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden on Friday Night from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 12 to 1 p.m. Interment will be at The Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden. —y : he —— | | |
