Show George Burton OGDEN - Our loving husband and fa- George ther, 69, Burton, Lomax passed from this life on Friday, March 5, 1999, at the McKay-Dee Hospital. — He was born on February 13, 1930 in Salem, New Jersey, a son of Percy. Jones and Mary Burton Cubbage. - He married Odessa 8, 1972 | Bush on March| in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Air Force, where he received many awards and honors during his distinguished 30 year career. He was proud of his Air Force Commendation Award. Metal | and his Bronze : , Star at Parker- He had been employed Hannifin for 15 years prior to his retirement in 1987. George was often recognized for his outstanding service and dedication by many by many awards and commendations as a Senior Coordinator. | iaastes George was a member of the Ameri- | | can Legion Post #66. He was a member of the Methodist Church in New Jersey. Surviving are his loving wife, Odessa B. Burton; a stepson, Darnell Clopten; a very special daughter-in-law, Wendy Clopten; a stepdaughter, Wanda Stewart; nine grandchildren, all of Ogden; a special aunt, Kate Anderson; a special , uncle, Harry Burton, both of Salem, New Jersey; many special nieces and nephews; and a godchild, Kendall Ad- ams, Ogden. George had a large, loving extended family in Utah, the family of his mother-in-law, Emma_ Bush.
