Show Noble Heath Jr. | Noble Heath Jr., age 74, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 1994 at his home surrounded by his family. Born May 15, 1920 in Naples, Texas the son of Noble and ‘Dainnie Flowers Heath. He mar- ju. ried Mae Fran-: cis Hill On| August 1941, they were later divorced. After § Se Pat ee moving to Utah he worked for: Union Pacific Railroad, Swift Packing Co.., Marquardt Corp., Sperry Rand, Weber State University and Clearfield Job — Corps. He retired.in 1985 after 15 years as welding instructor for the Job Corps. In 1982 he was honored in Washington D.C. with the nations top welders award. He was a member of Emery Chapel Methodist Church, where he held vari- — ous positions. He was past Worshipful Master of Mount Ogden Lodge No. 20 and a past Vice President of the Ogden Chapter of NAACP, he had been an Ogden City Councilman, and at the time of his death was a delegate for the state Democratic convention. | — — | all people, | — During his lifetime he was dedicated to the fight for equality and justice for — and had served in many community, civic and political projects. | Surviving are: his wife of Ogden, two sons, Larry Heath, wife Linda of Lay- ton; Lloyd Heath, wife Angela of Mesa, Az., three daughters, Patricia Scott- | Mitcham, husband Cozy, of Layton;, — Shirley Ball, husband Barry of Longmont, Co.; and Gladys Martin, husband John, of Denver, Co.; Three stepsons: Gary Bridgett, wife Patricia, Huntsville, AL.; Antone Bridgett, wife Cheryl and / Verreece Bridgett, wife Darlene of. Oklahoma City, OK; A brother, Edwin | Heath, San Pedro, Ca., two sisters: Francis Spigner of Wichita, KS; and Alneta Jones of Ft. Worth, TX. A grand daughter whom he raised Chanda. Madison, Huntsville, AL. Also nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.. | He was preceded in death by: his parents, a brother, and a step-daugh- ter. Funeral services will be held. Tuesday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m., at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Bivd., Ogden.
