Show :ducation specialist dies at 44 ROY — Dr. Gentes. ‘Maity , Campbell, 44, of 5546 S. 3000 ‘West, died today, Feb. D, 1985, at his-home of cancer. He was born March 10, 1940, in New. Cas tle; Pa.,’a son of ‘William Lid and Anna M Simmons Campbell. Ay my. and was reared and educated in Harrisburg, Pa. : He moved to Ogden in 1965. He had received degrees frat | Weber State College, Oklahoma > Cee, and Pepperdine Uni- | versity. He was a pilot and a professional musician. —__ : He had been affiliated with the National Association of Adminis- trators of State and Federal Edu- cation Programs; National Alliance of Black School Educa- tors; the Asian Association; Aircraft Owners and Pilot | Association. He had done volunteer work for various schools throughout Utah and for the Criminal Diog- nostic Center'in Salt Lake City. Surviving are his widow of Roy, his mother of Roy, one brother and one sister, Lawrence _ Campbell, Roy; and Cynthia Bey, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be Friday at | p.m. at New Zion’s Baptist Church, 2935 Lincoln, with the Rev. Tyrone Seals conducting.
