ert Fred Jones, OGDEN - Fentioy F Fred Jones Sr., 90, ‘ died Friday, May 5, 1995 of cancer. - He was born June 1, 1904 in Valley Mills, Texas to Isaac and Lizzie Bentley Jones. - He attended schools in District 68 and 69 in Oklahoma. In 1965 he married Willye Woodrick in Malad, Idaho. They were later _ divorced. He was a member of the Embry Chapel where he served on the ' steward and trustee boards. He was an avid hunter and fisher- man. He loved being outdoors with his family and friends. | He cooked for the surrounding churches after Pout ae from the UPRR. He was a longtime member of the NAACP. Surviving are his children, Linda Joy Woodrick, Jamie Leon Woodrick, Tammy Lynette Jones, Jones, Jr., Stephanie Fantley LaVon Fred| Jones, al of Ogden; nine grandchildren, two| great-grandchildren; sisters, Ada Liggins, Los Angeles, Calif.; Esther. McCormick, Chandler, Oklah.: Ora Dyer, Los ‘Angeles, Calif., Fannie May Caldwell, Chandler, Oklah.; a Johnson, Los. Angeles, Calif. Lois Talley, Davenport, Oklah.; number nieces and of nephews. _ He was preceded in death by his arents, three sisters, one brother and wo sons. . _ Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 1995 at 1 p.m. at the Embry Chapel, A.M.E.
