Show Iris Anita Richardson the fourth of five children born to Harold Richardson (who proceeded her in death) and Daisy Wilson Richardson, went on to be with the Lord on December 25, 1998 at 9:45 p.m., she was 43. Iris was born in Baltimore, Maryland and educated through the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Edmondson Senior High School in 1973, receiving a Certificate of Achievement in Data Processing from the Baltimore Institute in 1974 and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Bay College of Maryland in 1976. She held several positions at various companies including a management position with the Westside Medical Center before moving to Utah in 1978. She worked for the Social Security Administration as a Claims Representative supervisor. She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church where She was a member of the choir, president of the Mission Society, Vacation Bible School instructor, and a member of the finance com- mittee. She served as church clerk and secretary. She was a member of the I.G.B.A. where she served as a finance officer. She was a Community Activist, serving as president of the Community Watch, worked as a youth mentor and a philanthropist to inner city youth, and was known as “Aunt Iris’ to many youth.
