Show Nellie Ruth Daniels — OGDEN - Our grandmother, beloved mother, great-grandmother and sister, Nellie Ruth Daniels, 75, returned — to her Heavenly Father March 29, 1999. She was the fourth of 11 children, born November 18, 1923 — to Elizabeth Mil- © ey and Anderson J. Neal in Geneva County, Alabama. She married Willie B. peacefully Daniels, Sr. on May 11, 1943 in| Geneva, Alabama. — | She was | reared and ed cated in Geneva County Alabama. She ’ fishing her loved helping others, had a great gift. of hospitality and enjoyed cooking, and spending time with family. She was an active member New Zion Baptist Church on the Missionary Board of and served and was a | member of the NAACP Ogden Branch. She was employed as a cook with ~Ogden Community Action and Ogden City School District until she retired. She is survived by one daughter, Debra Daniels, Salt Lake City; four sons, Willie B. Daniels, Jr., Ogden; Dennis (Lois) Daniels, Decatur, Georgia; Anthony Daniels, Ogden; Johnny M. Daniels, Lakeland, Florida; 18 — grandchildren; seven great-grandchil- | dren; and a devoted nephew Rev. Je- | rome Council. She is also survived by | six sisters, Katie Albritton, Jacksonville, Florida; Laura (Rayfield) Coleman, Hartford, Alabama; Mary (Robert) Jordan, © Hartford, Alabama; Polly Sullen, Orlan- do, Florida; Bettye Goode, JacksonMcClellan, — Florida; Sarah ville, | Riverdale, Utah; a brother-in-law, Syl- — vester Daniels, sister-in-law, Layton, Queen Utah; Esther and a Lawson, Hartford, Alabama. 7 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Wil- lie B. Daniels, Sr.; one son, James A. ‘Daniels; three sisters; and one brother. Home going services will be held Monday, April 5, 1999 at 11 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 2935 Lincoln Ave., Pastor James Abrams presiding. Family and friends may call Sunday, April 4th from 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortu- ary in Ogden, 845 Washington Interment, Ogden Blvd. City Cemetery. |
