During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show WEDNESDAY January 3, 1951 Two or 3 inches of snow and some wind last nite Nice day not cold Have not been away from home. Wrote several letters Dr Jr and Cleone called this evening. Nothing special THURSDAY January 4, 1951 Snowed 3 inches last nite Have read most of day Letters from Delionth Young from Boston. Myrene calls and tells us Jue Brewer Jr is called England on mission. We are pleased We attend Utah Symphony at high school auditorium. Very good Snowy a little tonite FRIDAY January 5, 1951 Recd letters from Avon & Oertel I went down to Bank and our to Library and listened to book review by Mis Thatcher Allred. Called at Dr Jrs office. and went to city hall paid taxes on my car so I bought new number. Have read some and wrote little to Oertel. Retire early Jany 6th Nice, day, nothing special SATURDAY January 7, 1951 Nice clear cold day, Went to Priesthood meeting and Sunday school. Myra did not feel too good so she did not go. June Smart. Charles and Q came up from Salt Lake and were here for dinner and we had good visit. Dr Jr & Blanch called also cleone. Dr Jr has new catelac car very nice. The both have colds and retire early.
