1951 April 16Mrs. Myrtle Rich Richards 60 Paris, Ida. died Sunday at 9 10 a. m. in a Salt Lake hospital of a brain tumor.Mrs. Richards had taught in Fielding high school at Paris since 1943.She was born in Paris July 12, 1890, a daughter of Amasa M. and Mary Jacobs Rich. She attended the University of Utah and taught at Fielding academy at Paris as a young woman.She was married to Clyde Randall Richards in the Salt Lake temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, in 1920. They lived at Morgan, Utah, for a time. Mr. Richards died in 1945.Mrs. Richards was active in L D S church organizations in Morgan and Paris.She is survived b. v her mother, Salt Lake City; three sons Dr. Clyde R. Richards, Athens, Greece; Lt. Marion R. Richards, Dayton, O., and Dale O. Richards, Logan; four brothers David C. Rich and Dr. Spencer H. Rich. Paris; Dr. C. O Neal Rich. Salt Lake City, and Dr. Reed J. Rich, Montpelier, Ida.; also one grandchild.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p. m. in Paris First L D S ward by Morris B. Athay, bishop. Burial will be in Paris cemetery.
