During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show SUNDAY July 22, 1951 Fine day. I attended the Oratario Messiah at the Tabernacle at 7 a.m. and then Priesthood meeting and Sunday School and meeting at 5 p.m. Very tired. Last nite of All Faces West at the Stadium We went last nite. She say it was grand. I retired early tired Myrene called. Roland Parry and his wife deseret great pleasure for the All Faces West splendid MONDAY July 23, 1951 Nice day. I went down town this a.m. Have read and worked a little in garden and wrote few letters. Nothing special My brother Morgan J Rich suffered a stroke of paralysis last nite TUESDAY July 24, 1951 By parade splendid Tremendous crowd We attended Radio at Stadium in evening. Biggest crowd I have ever seen there Very good. We came home just before it let out to avoid the crowd Tired. Dr Jr & family went up to Bear Lake WEDNESDAY July 25, 1951 Hot day. Some wind this evening and looks like rain ot the South. Took car down to have it greased and looking our. Dr Jr & Cleone called this evening. Oertel Mother & I went to Orpheum to see Show Boat Very good. Nothing special A letter from Mary. |
