Then youll be sure that images of the mind may be transformed into delightful reality.And this week youll have the chance to view these leprechauns, for Mrs. Stauffer a native Salt Laker is back in town for an all too brief visit. She came from her home on the Monterey Peninsula with her friend and chief source of inspiration, Miss Harriet Coombs, and with 120 of her quaint Golden Thumb Leprechauns, which will be displayed in a Salt Lake store some time this week.Its the first real visit that Mrs. Stauffer has had in our city since she left about 14 years ago. In that time, she has made quite a name for herself to say nothing of her leprechaun family. They have been displayed up and down the west coast and have been cited as works of art by leading contemporary artists.No two are alike. Each has sprung from Mrs. Stauffers vivid imagination, though she claims that each little person has created his or her own personality.Mrs. Fred Eulalia Stauffer, who is back in town with some of her little people.
