Mabel Rich Sutton wife of Dr Rich Sutton died at 5 pm today in Idaho of Cancer. A dear noble woman Mother of 9 or ten children all grown. Daughter of Wm L Rich & Ella Pomery Rich. Dr J.H. Snedaker son of old friend of mine now of California reported missing in Airplane in Samon River Idaho Sad fine fellow only son TUESDAY October 23, 1951 Broke ground for new 33rd Ward meeting house today. Late in fall to start but may get foundation in before winter Myra & I went down to Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Rich Sutton, 65, Oakley, who died Monday at 530 p.m., in Burley, Ida., after a lingering illness, will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in Oakley Tabernacle, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery under direction of McCullochs Funeral Home. Mrs. Sutton was born in Bear Lake county, Ida., Feb. 14, 1886, a daughter of William L. and Ella Pomeroy Rich On Oct. 5, 1904, she was married to Dr. Richard J. Sutton in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. During her life she was an active worker in the LDS Primary, Mutual Improvement Association and Relief Society organizations. Dr. Sutton died June 3, 1951. THURSDAY October 25, 1951 Nice day.
