Principles of Business Education—Introduction to the field of business education, including analysis of curriculum, standards, guidance in career education, research, and current problems in teaching business education subjects. Required of all business education majors, should be taken during sophomore or junior year. W (2) 361. Methods of Teaching Typewriting and Office Practice —Analysis of textbooks and research into methods of teaching typewriting and office practice. Presentation of material on various levels with special emphasis on standards, achievement, testing and grading. S (3) 362. Methods of Teaching Shorthand—Analysis of textbooks and research into methods of teaching shorthand theory, speed and transcription with special emphasis on standards of achievement, testing, grading, and effective planning and organization of course content.
