Weber State College, in cooperation with Utah State University, is offering the Associate Degree Nursing Program on the Utah State University campus in Logan. The Associate of Science Degree is conferred by Weber State College. Students who are Utah residents are admitted to the two- year program. The student completes general education requirements and nursing classes at Utah State University and the laboratory practice for nursing classes is obtained from the various health agencies in the Logan area, except for a five week experience in psychiatric nursing which is in Ogden. Registration takes place at Utah State University unless there are unusual circumstances. Deadline for applying is February 24 and selection of students is made by April 1st. Students may apply for admission to the Cooperative Nursing Program by contacting the Coordinator of the Program, Richards Hall 513C, U.M.C. #65, Utah State University, Logan, Utah 84322. Sociology 101 5 Chemistry 101 Spring Nursing 229 10 Speech 105 3 Elective 3 COOPERATIVE BACCALAUREATE DEGREE NURSING PROGRAM The University of Utah College of Nursing through collaborative effort has extended the Baccalaureate Nursing Program to include registered nurses in the Ogden area. Students may register for general education courses at Weber State College and will register for nursing courses at the University of Utah. Facilities at McKay-Dee Hospital Center, St. Benedict's Hospital, Weber County Hospital, Public Health Agency and other community agencies are used for clinical experiences. Graduates of the Program are awarded a baccalaureate degree by the University of Utah. All courses and clinical experiences can be completed in the Ogden area.
