During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show SATURDAY May 19, 1951 Have been home all day Rained little during day and to nite rain and thunder and lightning. Ruth went to show with Lynn Dr Jrs daughter I have read and did little work in garden Dr Jr & Blanch called also Myrene called this evening SUNDAY May 20, 1951 I attended Oratorio at 7 a.m. at Tabernacle Also Priesthood and Sunday school. Myra did not feel very well and remained at home till noon. We had dinner at Royal & Cleones. Rain and wind in late afternoon We did not go to evening meeting. Retired early Ruth Rich went back to Salt Lake MONDAY May 21, 1951 Wind and cool to day cloudy & few days of rain Attended funeral of Hans Helgeson and spoke lovefly Went down town in afternoon and did some shopping Dr Jr and Cleone called this evening also Gladys Rich who is here from Los Angeles Turned heat of in house to day TUESDAY May 22, 1951 Nice day. Cloudy this evening Myra went down to hair dresser this a.m. I watered the lawn and fussed around some. We attended a reception given to the visiting M.D.s and ogden m ds by Dr Frank K Barttett at his home Very nice. Hes home and gardens lovely |
