During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show THURSDAY July 26, 1951 Clowdy to day and little rain this evening Cleone & I went to Salt Lake and visited Mabel Sutton at L.D.S. Hospital also Mary Nicholas Dave Cozzens daughter Also Morgan Rich my brother who suffered a stroke last days. Took some things down to the D U P building. We all had dinner at Heber & Lucile Hursts Nice dinner & evening FRIDAY July 27, 1951 Nice day. Man cut lawn and worked in garden I have been home all day Joe C rich called me up by phone as he passed through to Bear Lake to see about Reunion I talked with Dr W. O. Robinson in Salt Lake about Morgan Rich my brother who had a stroke last Sunday. We expect him to die in a day or so he is 83 Nothing special. I wrote to Thair He wrote he is transferred to Washington D.C. His wife Margret is promoted to Major in SATURDAY July 28, 1951 Myrene & Joe Brewer gone party for the Family at their home in South Fork. Nice time. Splendid Chicken dinner. We went up with Ted & Janath Cannon Rained a little earlier in the afternoon. Last nite of Radio here. My Brother Morgan J Rich died in Salt Lake City 3 am. to day from stroke & Brain aniuraism SUNDAY July 29, 1951 I attended Preisthood meeting and mother. Oertel & I attended Sunday School. In afternoon. Jessie Rich and his Sisters Gertrude Zula Iris & Lettie Rich called on us also Donald Cozzens & wife from Cokeville. I write letter to Ben L Rich. |
