Show memorial Passed time pm. with radio New Testament records & some good programs on TV. Nan home early. Monday, Feb. 20 Stumbled & fell on to the chiffonier cutting my cheek & bruising leg & shoulder. It was not too bad, so got up as usual. Phoned Margaret & found Ralph had gone thru his goiter operation & was OK. Janet brot little David & visited a while in pm. Had a long talk with Rosabelle she got home I am. Tuesday, Feb. 21 Felt pretty stiff this am. so stayed in bed until noon. Nan fixed me up nicely. Relief Society teacher (Mrs. Turner) called pm. Henry came & we made some plans for LL Club on Mch. 1st. A long phone visit with Rosabelle. Stan has been mdae on new record system at hospital. Some reading on the machine. Wednesday, Feb. 22 Snow covering everything this am. Gladly received. A Spring day later. Nan gave me lunch before she went out for pm I read on machine Marlboroughs Duchess. Enjoyed it much & finished book in eve. Laurie & Edith came in pm & we held a company meeting without our dear Betty. A sad entry made in Wednesday 22 Nan got home early after a short celebration with Mary Thursday, Feb. 23 Sunshine again this am Mary frances called am. A nice visit. To D of UP at 130 with Norma. A good meeting of 20. K Cowley brot me home & visited a while I excused from Drama Club. Nan & I out for groceries. Marie came & we fixed up bank ac & checks. Nan got new auto tires. Friday, Feb. 24 Nan helped me get read some of the references I noted from the Marlborough book am Norma called & we went to Acacia at Rosabelles. Twenty members. A good lap luncheon. An excellent paper about Haiti & Christoff by Alice. I was proud of her. Margaret came to stay. Nan to the big Military ball. Saturday, Feb. 25 Margaret with us We had a good visit. A gloomy am with fog & some rain & snow. Margaret went visiting pm. Laurie came & we went over papers for proposed ATD foundation. Quiet eve. visiting Sunday, Feb. 26 Two Sunday School & Fast meeting 10 am. To Salt Lake to the Margaret home. Saw house proposed for Peggy. Mixed |
