Reynolds Ogden on Oct. 25, 1913, He came to in 1945, and found work on the Union Pacific Railroad. He worked for 30 years as a dining car porter. During this time, he also worked in the dining rooms at Hotel Utah, and at Thiokol on his days off. : His interests included wore ing hard, fixing things, helping others, telling stories about the glory days of the railroad in Ogden and cooking. He often entertained friends after church with a big backyard barbecue. _ He grew a large garden, canning > and freezing his sharing with others. He and his’ Reviolde She were produce, and es wife Sarah married in 1946. died in 1966. Together they . had two children: Alvin Reynolds and Derotha Reynolds, deceased. He raised his daughter’s son,. Jeff Reynolds, after she died. | He has been an active member of the New Zion Baptist Church.
