Show JOHN D. “J.D.” KNOX SUNSET ~ John D. “J.D.” Knox, age 69, passed away Saturday, Apri 11, 1998 at Vista Care Hospice Center after along struggle with cancer. Hix wife Laraine Knox. was with him; caring and loving to the end. John way born January 18, 1929 in Smithdale, Mississippi to Earl Knox and Melissa Cane Knox. He way iv the Korean Wau, retired fromk.A.F.B. and belonged to the V.F.W. Jotw enjoyed hunting, fishing, (JAZZ) basketball and playing cardy at the Heritage Center where he had fun and loved everyone there. He enjoyed hiy son-in-low Darryle, who- spent long houry hunting and fishing with him Thiy meant alot to- him. He iy survived by hes‘vetie Laraine Know of SunseG three daughters, Cynthia (David) Dinix, | California; Karen Knox, Ogden; Rosaland (Darryle) McDaniels, Clearfield; one son, Bryant (Gail) Knox, Alabama; three step-daughters, Coleen Forakis, Roy; Cindy Spicer, Sunset; and Corma Jones, Washington; one step-son, Dewayne (Judy) Carrington, Colorado; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and one step great grandchild. He iv alo survived by sin sisters, Ree Cameron, Teresa Castin, both of — Mississippi Earleen Jergens, California; Rosetta Hall, Colorado; Ida Hall, Marvie Knox, both of Layton; fwe brothers, June Knox, Mississippi; Clifton Knox, Robert Knox, Clyde Knox, al of California; and Ruffus Knox, Colorado: He way preceded in death by hix parenty and twosisters. | |
