Crime is pervasive in American society, but victims and criminals have identified characteristics. These characteristics impact certain neighborhoods more than others. These characteristics and issues surrounding them are explored and researched. CJ 3120 - Professional Practice for the Forensic Expert Credits: (3) An in-depth analysis of critical issues for forensic experts in all fields. Topics such as evidence preservation, report writing, expert testimony and ethics are investigated. Particular emphasis will be placed on theory, measurement, and empirical results related to different types, consequences, and prevention of victimization.
