Show White City Ballroom Vern and I danced there, but mainly Vern played here as a member of many local dance bands. One time he was asked to play with the nationally known Stan Kenton Orchestra. 311 Ogden Canyon. My brother, Milton Marriott, built this home for our brother Orion Marriott who intended to live there after he married Charlotte Griffin. However, the Southern Pacific Railroad transferred Orion and Charlotte to San Francisco, so Vern and I lived in this lovely, new home for the first nine years of our marriage. |
