Later Kathy and Don Sansone, Michelle, Paul and Ashley Bachman, and Tony and Marjorie Sansone came to the house with presents. While Jerry was at work, Lowell and I prepared 100 finger sandwiches. Carol Sheridan brought her sterling silver punch bowl and made a delicious Sprite and lime sherbet drink. Jerry and Lowell had to use the snow blower to clear the driveway and walks so those coming could come in conveniently. Entertainment was by Brenn Hill providing his original poetry and songs. Some attending were John Crookston and daughter, Linn & Jeri Richardson, Lorraine Hales, Ken and Teddy Griffith, Paul's Griffith's wife and Steve Griffith's mother-in-law, LaVaun and Lewis Terry, Don and Brenda Terry and their daughters, Luke and Marilyn Blakeley, Evelyn Cook, LuJean James, and Karen Anderson." December 30, 1992 SHIRLEY MARRIOTT MURDOCK "It was a beautiful day. At the viewing for my niece, Shirley, at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary our family was the first to arrive followed by Blanch Critchlow Sam whose sister was Themla who married Lloyd Murdock. Others who came were Ann Marriott Wahlen and Robert Wahlen, Brent Marriott, Richard Graehl, Charles Ellis, Keith and June Hoxer, Charles Lindquist, John Lindquist, Carl and Ruth Peterson, and Ardis Hickenlopper Ellis, a friend of Shirley's since their late teens. Charles gathered the people and said that Lowell would offer the family prayer and then invited those who wanted to see Shirley to come up before the casket was closed. At the grave side, Jerry gave a talk, and Brent dedicated the grave. David Ellis came to the gravesite. Charles Lindquist had donated the dress Shirley was buried in on behalf of the mortuary and said that was the least they could do. Pallbearers were Robert F. Wahlen and Carl F. Peterson. Honorary Pallbearers were: Randolph Reid Murdock, Travis Murdock, Keith Hoxer, Scott B. Marriott, Bradley F. Kyle, Bruce Terry, W. Vern Harrop, and Robert B. Wahlen.
