Show FIDELIS For four years, starting in 1966, Madeleine was a member of the Fidelis Literary Club in 1947. One year Madeleine served as vice president of this organization which was established in 1947. Other members during these years were: Fern Allred, Zelma Alvord, Barbara Behling, Shirley Davis, Gladys Campbell, Melba Mathis Gates, Selma Handley, Donna Kingston, Doris Kingston, Vera Marshal, Emma Maughan, Helen House Miller, Jerry Myers, Genevieve Olsen, Grace Owens, Faye Perry, Pearl Seegmiller, Norma Smith, Roberta Storey, and Naomi Wall. 2 Vi YEARS COMPLETED "Christmas will be in Ogden this year as Lowell is returning from his mission. Orion, Charlotte, Ida and Pam are coming to be with us." December 25, 1969 VISITORS WELCOME "Christmas at Ida's in Bakersfield, California. Orion and Charlotte came from Millbrae. Next day Ida, Pam and we went to Donna and Willard's (Heed) in Ventura. The following night we were with Orion and Charlotte in Millbrae. On our way back to Ogden, we stopped to see Orion and Charlotte's friend Laura and Homer Sayers." Christmas 1972 "Enjoyed visiting and had a delicious dinner in the evening at Claire and Dr. Dave Richard's home in Salt Lake City." New Years Day 1975 With Frank, Melba Mathis Gates, Michael, and Colette Gates to dinner with us at Maddox Restaurant Perry, UT." October 25, 1975 Ida and Pam attended Fast Day Service with us. Sam and Ethel visited. Hans Rasmussen took pictures of our family in his basement studio. Ellen and Herb Griffin, Martha and ElRoy Stromberg, and Orion and Charlotte here and were entertained by Ida as she played requests from them on the piano and organ. December 28, 1975 "Michael and Colette Gates, Lynn Phillips, Sam and Ethel Harrop were with us for dinner. Sam and Ethel brought Harmon's chicken, salads, and I made apple and mince pies, baked beans, and yams. We all had a special New Year's Day." January 1, 1976 "Vern and I did two sessions in the morning at the Temple. Came home for a short rest and prepared dinner. Then Vern and I went back for two more endowment sessions at the temple."
