64 also with how do we best protect the General Electric share-owners against the inflationary trends which are evident today and which obviously are going to continue in the future at a rate well in excess of the old 2 percent that we've known since the foundation of this Republic and it just seemed to us that with the fact of these raw materials, in an economic sense, because in finite quantities they're just the greatest hedge which you can have against inflation. We've been doing all kinds of things, you know, in the Company to protect ourselves. We've even run courses for all management on how you manage in an inflationary economy and put together things like this which are telling our managers all of the do's and don't's about how to operate in the kind of economy we foresee ahead. There are so many ways in which you can get yourself so badly trapped unless you are very conscious that so many decisions you make have inflationary implications that you just don't perceive unless you get into a frame of mind where it's second nature to think of those and every single manager in the General Electric Company who runs a business has been through this kind of training and every finance manager has been briefed repeatedly on this subject. So, you know, this has been very
