JONES: What it means is that if you couple what General Electric has in Australia and what Utah has or you couple what GE-Brazil has with what Utah has in Brazil, you become a much more significant entity in the community. You are able to become much better known, higher visibility and, therefore, higher acceptance. This is what we meant. You become in the eyes of the Government, in the eyes of the people in that nation, a much more significant part of their thinking. You're there and you're there in a big way and you're much better known and understood and, hopefully, appreciated. CARR: In this case you're not only bringing things to sell in, say, Australia, but you're a source you're a part of the reason they're earning money. JONES: Yeah, you've got several thousand more employees. You're making contributions to the Sydney Opera House. CARR: Well, another aspect to that, some analysts have said this would give you greater access, you, GE, to Japan and I found that fascinating and wondered what and how that is so.
