17 CARR: It's just a group that gets together? JONES: Just a group that works together on these Issues and we generally meet in New York City as a matter of convenience. Then, when you've got something like the Roundtable you find that a lot of people call on you, you know, for your thoughts on issues and so the Roundtable has a number of task forces working on a host of issues; energy, the environment, consumerism. You name it, all of those issues that are of great consequence we kind of have something(?) with them(?). CARR: Who staffs all this? JONES: Individual companies. CARR: So there's not a permanent staff of the Roundtable. JONES: We have, you know, four or five paid people that take care of arrangements and make sure communications get out and all that sort of thing, but the idea of the Roundtable is that chief executive officers have got to involve themselves. They can't just send a spokesman to a Roundtable meeting or a spokesman to go and talk to some legislative subcommittee.
