Show WHAT? NO HE-MEN!!!! A fine bunch of he-men you are! You are about the biggest collection of pansies I have ever seen. What's wrong with you fellows? Haven't you any sense of beauty? Hundreds of beautiful, glamorous, will¬ing girls are at your beck and call, and you still stay away from the matinee dances . If you haven't gumption enough to ask THE secret passion to the dance, then you'd better join the sewing club. Wake up and gret the Ogden Hi eh spirit!!! Support your school activities no matter how trivial they may seem, especially when it costs you nothing. The school buys expensive equipment for your enjoyment. And to show your appreciation, you very compla¬cently sit high and dry in the bleachers. It is evident by the ever-increasing crowd on the dance floor, that more stu¬dents are daily finding enjoy-ment from this noon pastime why not you? Don Purkey BASKETBALL The first basketball erame this season will be preceded by an important assembly to be held of Friday the 28th. Let's all come to the assembly and sing and yell so we'll all be in practice for that game with South. Let's show them that we have pep, and plenty of it! Mari Mikkelsen SCHOOL PLAY The new school play is a "whizz". "Old Lady, 31" is about an old man in an old lad¬ies' home. It is pathetic in parts, but its comedy is excel¬lent and it is good entertain¬ment for high school students. The night of presentation, the first of February, will be a night to look forward to. June Spong MUSIC DEPARTMENT By rehearsing symphonies almost daily, it won't be long before Mr. Hansen has the band playing the prettiest bit of contest music your ears have ever heard . It is the hope of the school that the O.H.S. band will carry away top honors at Provo in the spring. Don Purkey ENERGY IN THE MAKING Because Physical Education is considered necessary to every day life, the teachers are now organising a gym class under the supervision of Mr. Moesinger and Mrs. Case. Edith Anderson Poets are born and there doesn't seem to be any remedy for it. Selected |
