In about one month from now, ogden High will be in the midst of an election. Our annual Classicalia is to be held on April 8, and that mean the time to select a queen is close at hand. Since we call ourselves the new ogden High School, why not be thoroughly new and begin to think for ourselves. Past conditions seem to indicate that such a thing: is not one of the fine old traditions of OHS. When you begin to look around for someone you think would make a good, queen, look around . Don't be blinded by artificial show. And don't think the finest girls are only those whose names are a byword at our institution. If you are not sure, such a thin? is entirely possible, take the advice of someone whom you trust, someone who should know. Common sense tells you that a queen must be attractive, intelligent, refined, friendly (not necessarily an extro-extrovert), a good sport, and loyal to her school. Think it over. When it comes time to vote, do it because you honestly believe your choice to be best. |
