Show One Hour It was three o'clock in the afternoon when Bill, coming home after an unsuccessful day, humped into Joe. Joe was a friend of his before he had served his term in Jail and before he had met Lucy, now his wife. And now Joe was telling, not asking him, but tell¬ing him to go with the gang that night to get a little easy dough. Bill knew it would be best to go along or else'—and besides it would be good to have some money to spend once more, and Lucy wanted to go out West to see her folks. Yes, he would go. He would meet the rest of them at the bank at twelve that night. He went slowly into the house wondering if he had done the right thing in promising to go and then trying to assure himself that he had. It was eleven-thirty when he took his gun and left the apartment. That would give him plenty of time to get there. And then he heard the newsboys shouting an extra. What was it they were saying? Some¬thing about bank robbers being caught. He bought a paper and quick¬ly glanced at it. Yes, there it was. Joe's gang had been caught red-handed. But how was it that he was left? How was it that he was not with them? He was sure they said twelve o'clock and it wasn't that time yet. And then he remembered that when he had come into the apartment that afternoon Lucy was just putting the clock back onto the shelf. Then it was all clear to him. She had seen them, Joe and him, talking together outside the apartment that afternoon, guessed what was up and had turned the clock back one houfl La Mar Allred Junior Prom The Junior Prom, the greatest, grandest, most collosal dance of the school year, will be held on April 29 at 9:00 pm , in the Ogden High School gym. Two hundred leis will be given away to the first two hundred girls present. Orse Hydes will lead his broadcasting orchestra in person. A decorative scheme will bring the Hawaiian atmosphere over that Pacific island to the school for the evening. A huge throng of seniors, juniors, and sophomores is expected to attend the affair. The Junior Prom is the one dance at which the Juniors will play host. For the first time in the history of the school, the dance will not be formal, but sport.
