Show To the One I Love--Continued. I think I must be dreeming It must be something I ate. To the stars that shin to the moon above I know whats wrong I'm falling in love A love thats been stired by Kisses in the night the breezes in the treess murmur I know its all right. Your head Was bent so verry close to mine from heaven you was sent When that moment came it was divine not once did I resist When his lyps were pressed to mine again & again I was Kissed Is this bit of heaven a crime? no I Came From Eastern How large was the school you came from? Which school do you like better? Why? These and many other questions of similar nature have been asked me by many of the friends I have made since my arrival at Ogden two months ago. One of the leading contributors to the ''Tattler" asked me to try to describe the school and to make comparisons so I will do my best. came from Eastern High School of Lansing, Michigan. The building, while only about three fourths as large as Ogden High has a student population of 1800 students in the Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth grades. This school offers several subjects which Ogden High does not, such as printing, swimming and courses in Journalism. With more students and a smaller building, the halls are naturally more congested, but in spite of this fact, one is able to get through the halls much faster and easier. Instead of going all over the hall, we stay on the right hand side. This rule also applies to the stair¬ways . At Eastern we have many clubs, too numerous to mention. Several students from the band and orchestra often get together and form dance bands. In the school at the present time tlere are about ten different bands, and there are several bands which have graduated but still nlay and are becoming fairly well-known. The students at Ogden High are extremely easy to get acquainted with, while at Eastern it is some¬what harder. Here the school is very nice but quite disorderly, I think. I understand that it has been in use about six months and the walls look almost as bad as Eastern's after ten years. However, after saying these things against Ogden High there are many good features about it that will make up for them. Marshall Foster |
