Show SMOKING ON THE CAMPUS, (Continued) "No smoking, no gambling, no drinking. Smoking is bad!" Ray Wilson: "It shouldn't be done, because it lowers the moral of the school. It's no one's business if someone wants to smoke, but it shouldn't be done in Ogden High School." News Notes Editor, Constance Ford: "I would rather see them do it openly than sneak around, trying to hide it!" Shirley Poulton: "If these students must smoke, the least they can do is wait until they get off the campus." Vivian Polidor, Fine Arts Society Head: "As for smoking on the school grounds, I am against it. But it really is up to an individual wheither he wants to smoke or not. No one can say wheither he should or not; it is up to the individual himself. Margaret Smith: "I don't like it." Arnold Roe: "The campus of a high school is for learning, not for dissapation!" Verda Parkins: "Although I don't care for smoking myself, I feel it an Ogden High School Student's privelidge to choose for him or herself, providing he or she doesn't blacken the reputation of Ogden High School." Ida Rose Langford Asked how he held the at¬tention of his audiences, Josh Billings explained: "for instance I will say 'There are two things on earth for which a man is never- prepared. What are they?' Cries will come from the audience: 'Death.' 'Taxes.' 'Marriage.' 'Wealth.' 'Happiness.' 'Hope, you're all wrong,' I then con¬clude solemnly.
