Show Graduation- -what then? Barbara Reeves Associate editor of Hews Notes Public Specker This question is, no doubt, buzzing in many bewildered senior minds at the prospect of suddenly being shoved out of the nest, so to.' speak, into whet seems a great abyss full of the hopes, desires, and fears that always accompany graduation. Many have carefully mapped out courses and are full of confidence in what awaits them, while others are as yet undecided. Some will enter colleges and some will go to work, but it is certain that whatever the future holds for them, they will never be able to completely forget the "comforts and joys that the hours of our school days recall". In time we will forget the disappoint¬ments and bad breaks we have had and think only of the good things, and before we know it, we'll be telling our children what we've always been told--our school days are the hap¬piest of our lives. No other school will take the place of Ogden High in our hearts, nor will any friend we make in after life be more dear to us. It rests upon our shoulders now to make our Alma Mater and those friends proud of us. We're going to do it! Watch us do it! ! A Senior Reflects Kent Rounds Business Manager of Yearbook Lieutenant, R.O.T.C. Once more the wheels of destiny have turned; and goon another class will graduate from the Ogden High School, this time the Hew Ogden High School. Inasmuch as the class of "26" will be tie first class to grad¬uate from the new Ogden High School we have much to be proud of. Y/e have truly had a marvelous school year, and there are many of us who will never forget it. When the time comes to leave "Old Ogden," there will be many very sad hearts. These people will alweys look back on the days spent in the Ogden High School and say," I wish I could live those days over again." Ogden High School seems to be a part of us now, and it is with deep regret that we leave it. low, about all there is left to say is, "Success to the class of "39"/'and may they have a very prosperous year in the coming year." In Summary Constance Ford Editor of the O.H.S. Hews Botes Pep Club Member This, the first year at the iew O.H.S., has been important, not only to the school but to the students. Every activity has been outstanding. At the very beginning "Things started to happen". No lull can be found in the activities of the school. Through the efforts of the students, the school has be¬come known not only in the city, but in the state and the nation. Ogden High School stands for an ideal. Ogden gives opportunities to her students who, by their efforts have made themselves and the school better known. You will find no better or more outstanding students than are found in O.H.S. this year. I have been impressed with their co¬operation, loyalty, and congeniality. These have been so evident in all. act¬ivities . We thank everyone who has helped us this year in the many af¬fairs. Through their cooperation we have succeeded in our work. |
