In his infancy he plays a competitive game of marbles, of sports, of other games, endevoring at all times to better the other fellow. In school he enters essay contests singing contests, acting contest , He competes with the next best fellow for the highest graded and honors. He is in competition for the title of "the most popular boy of the school" or of "all around athlete;" then again it may be an A plus student. He wants to be recognized by the rest and competes for this recognition. He wants to be year book editor, so he enters competition for that. Allthrough his life he is in competition with the other fellow; he struggles for the upper hand, for the better hand, for suprem¬ecy! In our school today, he enters into competition with the other fellow for love of a girl. He matches wits with his competitors; he even comes to blows at times. Life is like that.
