Show 1937-1938 Ray Pierson Vice-president of Sr. Class Lieutenant, R.O.T.C. Well, it's all over now but the shouting or whatever follows a swell school year. Personally, even though I do hate to leave this grand old school I'm all ready to donate ray "three cheers, or five rahs" to O.H.S. and to everyone who has been connected with it for all they have done in co-operating throughout the past year to make this year one which we will always remem¬ber . May the school always have the support it has had this year and may it continue to be such a swell place to study in. In behalf of the Senior Class I wish to thank the Juniors for all the hearty support they have given the seniors and the Student Body Association as a whole. The class has been behind Clair, Mickey, and lionell in everything they have attempted. All in all it has been a nifty Junior Class. The Seniors are proud of you, the school is proud of you and we're sure you're going to "car¬ry on" so that we'll continue to be proud of you. For Carl, Wayne and myself, I want to extend our thanks and appre¬ciation to the seniors for their support and co-operation. You should feel proud of what you have accom¬plished this year. We hope you have been satis¬fied with our work and feel that your trust was not misplaced. We wish to offer our deepest and strongest congratulations to Kay Stewart, Jennie Bekker and Paul Lane for their splendid end out¬standing leadership th throughout the past school year and to also wish Grant Neuteboom, Emma Martin and Stomo Ochi the best of everything plus success next year. To the faculty, Mr. Merrill Mr. Eye, the Superintendency and the School Board we offer our thanks and sincere appreciation for all they have done for us in our work here at Ogden High School. And now to those Seniors who are about to leave High School to continue rtuding under some hew school banner or to under¬take work in some field of labor, may I extend the best wishes I can offer for your continued success in life. May all of you achieve that goal which you have set up and attain the happiness which all of you deserve. Thanks for everything you have done for me. Sincerely, Ray Pierson. One of His Supporters President Wilson used to find great pleasure in relating how he made a quiet pilgrimage to the monu-ment erected on the bluffs to Mark Twain. Unrecognized by the natives, he asked one of them if he remembered Tom Sawyer. "Never heard of him," the Missourian made answer. "Do you happen to recall Puddin-head Wilson?" "Oh, yes, sure; I voted for him in two different presidential elections. |
