Show Obitu Marvine Scott OGDEN -Marvine Scott (Molly) passed away Friday Sept. 7, 2007 at McKay- Dee Hospital in | Ogden UT. Our heavenly father| stretched out his arms to em3 brace the spirit iam of a precious wife, loving mother, grandand | mother daughter. Marvine Hoskins-Scott was born July 9 1941 to the union of Joseph Hoskins Sr and lzola Bush in East St..Louis, Ill. Marvine married George Scott Jr. Apr. 26, 1961. They resided in Ogden Utah. Marvine attended West Coast Trade College in CA in 1967, and The University of Phoenix in UT, in 1980. She was employed by Parker Hannafin for 25 years, she retired in 2004 as a Cell Manufacturing Associate. She received multiple honorary awards for being an exemplary employee. Marvine was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary club post 9 for 22 years. She made various contributions to the Salvation Army, Big Brother and Sister club, churches and St. Jude hospital. Marvine was a dedicated wife, and grandmother, mother, daughter. She always gave freely with no expectations. Even in her time of need she continued to put others first. She will especially be | missed because of her kind generosity and a heartiness, | shoulder to lean on. She most enjoyed traveling with her husband, and spending her leisure time with her grandmother (Emma Bush) who was the joy of her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, mother, aunts, grandchildren and conversing with her closest friends. She enjoyed listening to blues, gospel music and the oldies. Marvine leaves to cherish her memories by her beloved husband George Scott Jr; seven children, Tyrone (Rachel) Scott of Idaho Falls; Carlis Reeves; Van Scott; Georgetta Scott; Tara (Melvin )Steward; Debbie (MarDelaware; Zena tin) Fuller of 19 (Larry) Ingram of Virginia. grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, her mother Izola M. Jeraldine Sister and Bush George of Hawthorne, CA. |
