To paraphrase from a poem entitled... “The Train Ride” ... “Life is like a train ride. We get on. We ride, we get off. We get back on and ride some more. There are accidents and there are delays. At certain stops there are surprises. Some of these will translate into great moments of joy, some will result in profound sorrow. We must, however, constantly strive to understand our journey. Seeking out just what the Lord wants us to do in this life. But when God calls, we must come. Our journey on this side of life is completed. Separation from our family and friends is painful, but the Lord provides His love and compassion in this time of joy and sorrow”. Psalm 91: 1-2 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will award me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” II Timothy 4: 7-8 “Be not dismayed what ever betide, God will take care of you; Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you”.
