Show Melvin Jones Sr. NORTH OGDEN -— Melvin Jones Sr. who resided in No. Ogden, UT went to rest Sept. 2, 2007 at 9:08 a.m. He was born Sept. 15, 1925 to David Jones and Allie Tillman. Melvin was born and raised in Webster Parish, Heflin, LA. Then made his home in Ogden, UT in 1944. He became father to three daughters, Alsie Snellings, Shalese Wharton, Nyler Ables and one son, Melvin Jones Jr. He was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. _ Surviving are one sister Ida Mae Cash; three brothers Herman Jones, Allen Jones and Ralph Jones and a host of cousins; nephews and nieces. Melvin was a very loving and caring dad and he said he loves everybody. | - Memories Tell His Story I really don’t need to say a lot to tell My Dad’s story Because “Memories Tell His Story” Anyone whoever knew him can say his name And just think of him Because “Memories Tell His Story” When I think of My Dad, I think of Kindness, Generosity, Mercy & Love | Yes “Memories Tell His Story” When you think of him your tears will turn into a smile And you sorrow into laughter Because He left us a lot of good times and good stories to remember And he will always be in our memories So think of him “Melvin Jones” _ ~And “Let Your Memories Tell His Story”.
