Born July 27, 1945 in Og- cen, UT to Mar- | raised and edu- | cated in Ogden, | graduating from Ogden High School in 1963, | graduated from | | Weber State in| : 1988 with a BS degree in ar agement Logistics. She married Mose Watkins July 17, 1965, they later divorced. : Tommie was known by her patience and trust in the Lord and was always there to help others with the advice they needed. Her life was a true example of Christianity. She was a devout | member of New Zion Baptist Church, where she served as financial secretary, youth director, — church clerk and many other po- . sitions. She devoted a lot of her time to the Lord and the community where she was recognized | for her time with the Sojourner Truth Award. | Tommie loved her family and friends, she loved being with her grandchildren, who always brought a smile to her face. She is going to be deeply missed, especially by her family. She is survived by her two children, Nikole Widdison (David), No. ‘Ogden, Dwayne. Watkins (Katherine), OR; three sisters, Sammie Ellis, Onieda . White, Daphne White Bradley; two. brothers, Winston White, Ronald White; and four beautiful grandchildren, Whitney Timbers and Airyka Timbers, Moses Watkins, Maurice Watkins and many nieces and nephews. she was preceded in death by her parents; four uncles, Alge, Thomas, Augustus, L T Bell; one aunt, Johnnie B. King. Thank you to Manor Care for all your comfort and care, to Natalile Taylor, whos care never went unnoticed and to the Love Hospice team and a_ special thank you to her iong time physician, Robert Mohr. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 2935 Lincoln Ave. .
