Show Mary T. Lester 3-13-1930 to 8-7-2019 NORTH OGDEN -. Mary Lester, born to Ernest and Lillie Mae Hicks, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 7, 2010, and what a blessing that was for her. Mom was feisty, sassy, smart and independent. She always tried to do what she thought was best. So Mom, we know you are looking down at us from heaven, dressed to the nines, with your sunglasses on. She is survived Hp her children, Jeanne Lester, Ogden; Turee (Perry) Toro, Mesa, AZ; Linda Hill, Ogden; Elaine (Bob) Perry, Warner- Robins, GA; Edwyn Cyphers, Lubbock, TX: a granddaughter whom she raised as her own child, Dietra Hill; her special niece, Monique Hicks who called her every Sunday without fail; 28 grandchildren and many great-grandcfiildren, nieces and nephews. Also surviving is one brother, Fletcher Hicks, Lubbock, TX. Mom was preceded n death by her son, Herbert White, her parents, four sisters and two brothers. : - Aspecial thanks to the angels in the form of C.N.A.'s and nurs- es at Crestwood Care Center who made the last years of her life dignified. She really loved all of you. A heartfelt thanks to Intermountain Hospice, especially her hospice nurse, Julie Lee; her friend, Kristi Webb and her activities staff at Crestwood Care Center for making her feel useful and vital; and finally to her greatgrandchildren, Amon and Amari Pierson, who spent many hours with grandma at the care center. You were a true blessing in her life and Amon, you were Grandma's best friend and she takes all of those kisses with her to heaven. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11. am. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Family will meet with friends at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. .
