Show _ AnnaBelle Weakley - Mattson AnnaBelle Weakley - Mattson 86, born July 12, 1922 was killed in an auto accident Saturday — November 15th near Wendover, Utah. AnnaBelle owned Porters Waiters Jazz Club and Hotel from. 30's early the &@ the and the late until the 60's. She was known as the "Queen of 25th Street” and brought many of the greats of Jazz to the crossroads of the west. ie | AnnaBelle served on various boards including the Boys and Girls club in Salt Lake City 20 year, the Salt Lake Senior Center, the YMCA, the Legal Aid Society, the Governors Black Advisory Counsel, as a National Counsel on Alcohol and > Drug abuse and she was the Ethnic Minority Specialist at the Utah State Prison. | AnnaBelle will remain in the | —— hearts and minds of everyone she touched. She was an extremely companionable and lov- | ing lady and always did whatever she could to help anyone in need.
