Show 3 February, Tuesday. Last night the girls Cleone, Oertel and Myrene prepared the dinner. I did nothing but make the bisquits. Their maids did up all the work. Cloteel & Thair have spent the afternoon calling. They had lunch home and this eve Junior & Blanch took them Dr & I out to dinner. Royal Cleone, Joe & Myrene, Oscar & Oertel spent the evening here. Taylor took air plane home to Calif this A.M. had a very enjoyable time Dr, Thair & Pop had pictures taken. Thus treat your teeth wheneer they chance to ache; The seeds of leeks, selected wisely, take; Burn them with sweet frankincense mixed, nor yet To introduce some henbane leaves forget; Then through a funnel broad allow, forsooth, The smoke to be slow drawn into the tooth. Of bones, mans body, as is plainly seen, In all has some two hundred and nineteen; Of teeth, in number, thirty two contains, With full three hundred five and sixty veins. Wednesday, February 4. Stormy day. after a fine hot breakfast Thair & family left at 930 on their way East. Was sorry to see them go. No telling when we shall see them again. Just a little blue. After streightening up house Maren baby Ralph & Oertel came when they left I went to bed & slept for two hr. Cleone went to bed with sicatica in left leg. Years steal Fire from the mind and vigor from the limb, And lifes enchanted cup but sparkles near the brim BYRON. WARNERS CALENDAR OF MEDICAL HISTORY. |
