Show 24 September Thur. Junior is forty three years old today. he sent me some beautiful flowers tho he is at Stockton Calif. Had nice letters from Thair also Cloteel. A BANKERS PAYMENT One of those physicians diffident in matters of money and fees, Pierre Bretonneau felt uneasy about placing a monetary value on his professional services, preferring to send no bills. Patients paid whatever they wanted to. Unable to get a bill from him for attendance upon his family, Rothschild opened a bank account for him. So, eventually, a small capital plus interest was accumulated. Saturday, September 26. This A.M. I canned 9 qts of peaches for Dr & Mrs Frank Baker. Rose Nielsen of Salt Lake City called. Blanch B. Rich also. It seems good to be able to work again. There must be one type of medical service for all persons rich and poor alike medical care that is good in quality, ethical in character and suitable in amount ANONYMOUS WARNERS CALENDAR OF MEDICAL HISTORY. |
