Show MEMORANDA Jan 3. Thair C. Rich was advanced from a Capt. To a Major in the U.S.A. Medical Corp. Recd from Wash. D.C. to Letterman Hospital San Francisco Calif. Jan 17. Snowing Junior & Blanch left by plane from Salt Lake Air Port at noon for San Francisco for a ten day trip Feb. 4 Thair and family left by Auto for Rockford Ill where he is assigned to Camp Grant Feb. 9 Edward B. Rich has mumps Feb. 24 Dr & I went to Calif by plane for a trip of two weeks. Mary Brewer (dau) of Myrene & J.W. Brewer blessed & named by her grandfather Edward I. Rich & her father & others at Mt Ogden Ward. Named Mary Brewer Mar 29 1942. Apr 9. D.U.P. Tax on paving settled Apr 9 Birthday party at Oertels for Dr July 2. Almira C Riched was operated for Wertheim Watkins July Dr Thair C Rich was made Lit. Cornal at Camp Grand. July 22 Dr Junior E Rich was given a commission of Major and went to Santa Anna Calif. to join U.S. Army for Service Entered Aug 30. Page July 5 Sept 29 Maren E Hardy gave birth to a girl our first great grandchild daughter. Dec. 28 Claire married to Reed Shaw in Denver Dec 24 Junior came home for Xmas from Stockton. Dec. 28 Claire Eccles was married to Reed Shaw of Ogden, Md. in Denver unknown to her parents Royal & Cleone Rich Eccles. She sent telegram same day announcing it. Nov. 27 Ralph W. Hardy Marens husband was made Bishop of in S.L.C. East Ensign |
