Show Ernst Julius Gurlt took part in the Prussian wars from 1848 to 1870, and wrote an account of them. This, together with a history of voluntary nursing in war time and the military chapters of his monumental history of surgery Geschichte Chirurgie are important contributions to the bibliography of the history of military medicine and surgery. Sunday, June 14. A cool night. I slept fairly well. Dr & I attended Mr Ogden Stake Conference. Apostle Lee gave a wonderful sermon. Incouraged our men who go in the service to be prayerful & live the Gospel and to have faith & cast off fear. Carolyn Jr & Blanchs baby is four yr old today. She is a smart pretty child. I went to the office for an examination. Helped at refreshment table at a party given for Mr & Mrs June Andrew who are moving to Nampa Idaho. She is a dear friend of mine. Is an expresident of Stake Mt Ogden R.S. Action is the daughter of thought LAMARTINE. WARNERS CALENDAR OF MEDICAL HISTORY. |
